TWO YEARS LATER



I have been remiss. I have not blogged at all during the last two years. Suffice it to say i've been busy working out and practicing the art of mindful eating! It's worked! Kudos to my trainers at Fitness Together during 2009 and at Spectrum Fit in 2010 (both just steps away from my office in Beverly's Cummings Center).

And now, as the new year dawns bright i'm still at it! 2010 brought with it two knee surgeries but somehow i never lost track of my goals! In the spirit of continued success i'm now diving into Jenny Doh's Crafting Fitness e-course. http://creativelab.crescendoh.com/ started a week ago...but i was in MN on biz so i'm diving in a week late and will catch up. Pics above taken earlier this week at the gym in my Minneapolis hotel, and today in Stage Fort Park, Gloucester.

DAY #1--THE FIRST DAY OF THE REST OF MY LIFE



12:30 pm
Fitness eval with Lisa. She'll print out results and will give them to me on Wednesday. I want to lose 70 lbs.
In addition to the fitness eval [step up and down for 3 mins, 1 minute of sit ups, 7 (that was how many i could do) push ups and a flexibility test ( I did very well] I did10 minutes on the treadmill while watching tv.
I started writing everthing down in my log book. Key. And I might buy myself a kitchen scale.
Salmon and broccoli will be my mainstay for dinner and I bet that the Daily Bagel's veggie hummus wrap might become my lunchtime staple. I need to start getting up in time to make oatmeal for breakfast. That'll be my goal for tomorrow.
In tomorrow's post i'll set some other goals...short and longterm.
